Hi, Eddie.
I moved here nine years ago. I love the place. Know all my neighbors and a bunch of other people on my block. (Great folks.) My husband and I walk to the book store, lamp fix-it guy, tailor, dry cleaner, pharmacy, hobbie shops, video rental, newsstand and the mall. When we eat out, typically we walk to the neighborhood restaurants. It's like Mayberry RFD only on Pico Boulevard -- very oxymoronic... but in a GOOD way! If only our neighborhood had a grocery store, it would be fully walkable, fully self-contained, fully old-timey.
Thanks for helping to get this blog up and running!
