I will be starting at approximately 9:00a.m at Pink's Hot Dog Stand in West Hollywood. The walk will end at El Camino College Compton Center. View the official route here: http://goo.gl/maps/wHCU1
This walk is called the Martin Luther King March "Unity & Peace" walk for Foster Kids & Widows. I chose to name this event after Martin Luther King, Jr. because he was a leader who demonstrated non-violent, effective ways to rebel for a righteous cause. I'm sure he would not appreciate him putting his life on the line just to see his own people fighting and killing each other. I have set out to fulfill his dream.
With this walk, I am trying to make the biggest possible impact as I can. By doing this walk, I am demonstrating positive, non-violent ways to make change in our communities and society abroad. Please. Walk with me.
