Celebrate America a Week Early with Fireworks and Foodtrucks in Santa Monica

Santa Monica College is having its annual Celebrate America event this Saturday, June 25th.

Parking lots open at 4:00. There will be food (great food trucks), fun and fireworks. People can bring chairs, blankets and a picnic. Bring warm clothes, b/c the fireworks won’t start until 9:00.

Billed as "the biggest, most sensational patriotic community event on the
Westside" - it's certainly the earliest!

Located at Santa Monica College, Corsair Stadium. For more info (but not much) http://www.smc.edu/apps/pub.asp?Q=2057

If you don't want to deal with parking, take the Big Blue Bus #7 down Pico Blvd. It takes you directly from Rancho Park to Santa Monica College. Check the schedule and stops here.
