I've always wondered why we have so many mattress stores on Pico Blvd. in Rancho Park and West LA.
t turns out mattress stores are a big business that is only growing. The news program Marketplace has provided some answers, which I have summarized here:
We buy them more often, we want to test them out in person, they are inexpensive to run, and concentrations of them…

Hi Orli,
A friend and I have a few 3-4 miles routes we walk regularly through the neighborhood, and there are always lots of friendly dogs to meet, and even many friendly dog walkers. There are plenty of hills and lots of great lawns for the dogs to romp. Since getting a dog, I walk through more of the neighborhoods than ever before, and have come to really appreicate even more the wonderful area in which we live. Try it!!!! If you're not ready to get a permanent dog, you might consider asking to walk an underwalked dog near by. Unfortunately for both dog and owner, some people don't want or aren't physically up to walking their dogs, so both might really appreciate an offer...

Thanks and nice to virtually meet you. I'm sure we must have ran into each other before as I'm always at Palm's Park or Island's on Tuesdays with my two boys (ages 2 and 4). Anyway - thanks for putting this together!
Thanks very much.
I will try my best.
Dang...I only know about the Post Office @ Rancho Park Pharmacy.
Found your site by sheer luck: my neighbor and I have an ongoing argument as to what constitutes 'Rancho Park'. We live just down the street from the FOX lot...the 'Rancho Park' sign is posted well before Fox Hills Drive..and therefore I tell people that I live in Rancho Park.
Any 'official' definition on the borders of Rancho Park? FYI: the lady at the post office (a federal employee) told me that if your zip code is 90064, you're in RP.
So is it more of a Westside thing (like the pavilion) Or a West Los Angeles thing?
