PICO BLVD

As a long time resident of Rancho Park,  62 years,  I'm getting fed up with the mattress stores and massage parlors that line Pico Boulevard.   Now I hear that the Lazy Boy and Ken Crane site is being turned into a 99¢ store.   Rancho Park and Cheviot Hills is the home to many upscale, sophisticated families and professionals and we deserve better!    Rancho Park / Cheviot Hills homeowners would support an upscale specialty supermarket,  fine restaurants,  a book store and boutiques!   No…

Feeder Route to Ciclavia, Sunday April 21

Ciclavia to the Sea will turn Venice Blvd into a biking paradise this Sunday.  The full route will run from Venice Beach to City Hall and the historic El Pueblo district.  A feeder ride will pass through our neighborhood.  The group will start at the UCLA Bruin Bear at 9:30am, picking up riders along the way as it passes down Westwood Blvd.  A great way to share a Sunday with the community!

Stunning and beautifully rendered, this movie is truly unique. It is a sweet story that helps us appreciate the beauty of nature and makes us treasure our…
