Westside pavilion *updated with comment from mall management

I was at Westfield shopping town in century city the other day and was speaking to one of the mall attendants about the renovations. Was told that Westside pavilion is going To be closing and Nordstrom moving to century city. Was wondering if anyone has further info on whether WPavilion is in fact going to close once nordstroms moves in 2017.

Thanks for the quick response, Vito. We do hope that when the Macerich has something to announce regarding the Westside Pavillion, you will let us all know first. As you can see, it is a topic of much interest on this site.

(Vito is the marketing director for the Westside Pavillion...and an involved Rancho Park Online member. He was helpful in providing info about Nordstrom's move when we posted about it back in February.)

Good Afternoon, while I don't have any specific plans that the shopping center can announce yet, Westside Pavilion will not be closing with Nordstrom's departure.  This one falls in the rumor category.

I've reached out the Westside Pavillion management and asked them to clarify what will happen after Nordstrom moves. Stay tuned.

Yes, I have confirmed this with the staff at Century City Mall and Nordstrom's is definitely headed there - in fact, they have already started construction!  Not 100% sure that the Westside Pavilion will be shutting their doors thought, I was only able to confirm Nordstrom's move.  Hope  someone else can help confirm or deny these potential rumors?!
