Rancho Park Post Office News: Save the Westside Pavillion Post Office Group Is Now on Facebook

As reported here on Rancho Park Online in an earlier post, the post office in the Westside Pavillion is among those being studied for possible closure by the U.S. Postal Service.

Welcome Curren Price -- We are now State District 30!

District lines were certified on August 15, 2011, and Rancho Park is now COMPLETELY within newly designed State Senate District 30.  Rancho Park residents were previously separated into Curren Price's District 26 and Ted Lieu's District.  Those on Little Overland were in Senator Lieu's District.  Ted Lieu has now taken over District 26, which consists of the coastal area.  Little Overland, our neighbors, and all of the Rancho Park area, both north and south of Pico are all now in District 30,… Continue

Possible Westside Pavillion Post Office Closure and a Send Off for Bob, My Rancho Park Postman

It is not every day you get a letter from your mailman, but that is exactly what arrived in many Rancho Park residents' mailboxes last week from Bob, our local mail carrier who for practically the last quarter century has dilengently delivered mail to the Rancho Park area south of Pico and west of Westwood Blvds.

Out of My Head: A New Musical About Group Therapy Now Playing at Rancho Park's Pico Playhouse

To celebrate the Santa Monica Farmers Market 30th birthday there will be a five-day festival and conference from Sept. 14-18 to discuss food and farming issues, such as. food policy, school food, hunger, the environment, farming, organic food, butterfly gardens, food preservation, beekeeping and composting.

Anyone know what this is about?
