What is Growing in Your Rancho Park Garden - And in Mine?

Today my son found this mystery flower in our garden. Does anyone know what it is? We think it may be a weed, but it sure is interesting.

What is growing in your yard? If the answer is lemons, please let me know. I know some kids who are looking for locally-grown lemons for their summer lemonade stand. They may be willing to make you a trade.

Is it an evergreen? And can you do a cutting so I can grow it? Shady or sunny?

Thanks for letting me know. I considered moving the plant to my front yard but have been told that since it is a vine, it would be hard to remove without taking the plant it is tangled up in too. Anyway, now I am hoping for some fruit. Yum.

They were growing here when Jonathan was a kid, and he wants them again, so I'm very familiar.  :)

Those are the craziest looking flowers...one of my sons picked one on Overland near the train tracks recently.  Who knew they were passionfruit?  Well, Melissa "the greenthumb,", I guess!

That's a passion flower...will turn into passion fruit if it's in a good spot.  Watch out though, as they can be invasive.
