UPDATED!! Conversations with the School Board Candidates -- District 1

Yesterday I had word from Marguerite LaMotte's office that she's unavailable for the Tuesday event. The Eric Lee event is still going forward on March 3rd. Stay tuned to Rancho Park Online for more information!

On February 22nd Temple Isaiah and OneLA are hosting a conversation with school board member -- and candidate -- Marguerite LaMotte at Temple Isaiah (10345 W. Pico Blvd.). The event begins at 6:30 pm. Please RSVP via this link: http://events.constantcontact.com/register/event?llr=vgx9hzbab&...

Parking in the golf course lot across the street from Isaiah.

On March 3rd at 7pm St. Agnes and OneLA are hosting a conversation with candidate Eric Lee. Details forthcoming.

Please join in both conversations so that you and make an informed decision when you vote on March 8th. I cannot think of a more important elected position right now as our schools are being challenged on all sides. Now, more than ever, we need to be informed advocates for our kids.

Turns out that this race wasn't even on my ballot! Oh well... it's a public service.

Thanks for the update Debra. I hope LaMotte can reschedule. I am sure many folks here in Rancho Park are very interested to hear what she has to say.
