Rancho Park Residents Can Get Local Fresh Fruits and Veggies Through Temple Isaiah's Community Supported Agriculture Program

Farm fresh fruits and vegetables are coming to Rancho Park as part of Temple Isaiah's ongoing partnership with McGrath Family Farms in Ventura.

Through the synagogue's Community Supported Agriculture program, temple and community members can register to receive a weekly box of the finest seasonal produce. The spring season begins March 6 and sign ups are going on now.

Go the temple's CSA webpage for more info on  how the program works. The cost is $455.00 for the thirteen week season, which ends on May 29. You can get your own box or ask to share. Boxes are delivered to the temple every Tuesday for pick up.

As a CSA participant, I can tell you the food is delicious. You can't beat the beets and there is great programming too, like potluck dinners, farm tours and cooking classes.

The Temple Isaiah CSA is a great way for Rancho Park residents to support community farms and build community right here in our own neighborhood.
