Since I am spending so much time researching what is going on in Rancho Park these days, I've decided to make 2011 my hyperlocal year, literally. My plan is to have Rancho Park be my one stop locale for as much of my shopping, eating, entertainment, education, health and wellness as is practically possible. For groceries, you'll find me at Trader Joe's on Westwood and National. For exercise, I'll try out some of the many boot camps held in the early mornings at Rancho Park, post some of my favorite running routes and maybe even try my first round of golf. I'd like to try a cooking class at both our cooking schools, Chef's Inc and Chef Eric's Culinary Classroom. I am also really excited to take a sewing class at Sew Perfect when it opens next month. If I want to see live theater, I can go to the Pico Playhouse and for food and shopping, I've got more options than I think I can cover in a  year. But that doesn't mean I won't try. Stay tuned for updates on my latest explorations. Any suggestions for where I should have dinner on Saturday night? Any great classes you love at the Palms or Rancho Park rec centers? I'd love to hear where you'll spend your time in Rancho Park this year.
