For door and window repairs, I recommend Alfredo Mendoza

I recently had several doors in my home repaired. There were problems ranging from the sliding doors coming off the hinges, to the backdoors not closing properly, etc. I had a great experience with a repairman, Alfredo Mendoza. His rates are reasonable and his work is excellent. He took the time to examine all of my doors and fix any additional, smaller problems with the doors throughout my house --- all for the same price he originally quoted me to fix 5 doors.

He was…

EXPO's AT-GRADE CROSSINGS

There's a e-mail campaign in progress to ask the California Public Utilities Commission to hold off approving EXPO's at-grade crossings (Overland, Westwood, Military, Sepulveda) during its meeting on Nov. 10.

EXPO is requesting approval while the appeal of residents' lawsuit against them is still pending. CPUC should keep out of it until the lawsuit is resolved. Approval would slant the lawsuit in EXPO's favor, disapproval would slant it in the plaintiff's favor.…
