Get your photos up!

I just signed up and I've got my mug up in this piece already. So where's yours, hmmmm?

Sooo, I have to admit, I'm technically in Palms, but I'm hoping I will be embraced by the RP faithful. I can be your spy in the south and let you know of happenings down here. Here's one little nugget. The Versailles restaurant on Pico at Motor has a big problem. Their big, colorful mural/sign has a typo on it. "Cuban Food at it's Best"  See it? haha. They don't seem to have an e-mail contact on…

Westwood Blvd's Hoboken - A Taste of New Jersey in the Heart of Rancho Park

My Rancho Park hyperlocal year continues with my first-ever visit to Matteo's Hoboken on Westwood. We went on a cold February evening and the hearty Italian (East-Coast Italian) fare hit the spot. On a warmer evening, we would have opted for one of the sidewalk tables. Nice touch  - and not something we have enough of here on the Westside.

Where is Rancho Park? Can Someone Give Me a Sign? Or at Least Tell Me What Happened to the Rancho Park Signs That Were on Pico near Sepulveda and Westood near National?

Does anyone know what has become of the Rancho Park neighborhood signs that I could swear used to be posted. The only one I can find these days is this in-need of-attention sign located on Overland Ave. just south of Olympic Blvd. Are there more around and where are they? If they are gone, who took them down and why?

Any leads appreciated.

Stay tuned for…

Yes on Measure L -- Restore Library Hours

I'm a big fan of libraries and love to spend time with my kids at the Palm-Racho Park branch on Overland.
